12 principles of animation
Squash and stretch - the four liquid-like elements at the end of the film squash and stretch as they tangle together
Anticipation - the music and the animation begin slowly and then gradually speed up to reveal their tangliness.
Staging - the camera scrolls down to keep the spiraling tangly animation in the center of the frame.
Slow in and slow out - the linear tangling elements in our animation slow down as they enter and leave the frame.
Arcs - every movement in our animation follows an arc - especially when all the elements tangle together.
Timing - with the music incorporated into our animation, all motions will be timed with musical cues.
Exaggeration - the idea of "tangling" is exaggerated throughout the animation by incorporating elements that will tangle far beyond the ability of any physical object.
Appeal - the animation switches several times from white-on-black visuals to black-on-white visuals.

sound option????
The song is Daily Routine by Animal Collective. and i really like the beginning part because it becomes very complex and TANGLY. let me know what you think.
I wouldn't use the actual song but i would make a sound that starts simple and becomes more and more complex and tangly. we could easily make our video go along with something like that.
